ELVEBAKKEN
This is two short-films I made for mye exam and test-exam in Film, 2008. I got a little less than two days to shoot per film, with only a subject in mind. Then on the third day I got the assignment, and I had to edit the clips into either a trailer, commercial, news story or whatever the choices were.
The first film is a trailer for a ficitve youth-TV-show, which was supposed to be prospecting the differences between cultures in Oslo. The second film is a commercial for Akershus Fortress in Oslo, to make it look like one of the attractions that draws people and tourists to Oslo. Spring 2008.
This film is a result of a task we got that said to make a short film or simply a scene from a fictive film based on a spesific historical expression. We chose to make a scene from a fictive film from the film-noir period. Fall 2007.
This next film is a music-video I and three others made for a band a couple of our friends play in. The task was to make a narrative music-video for an unknown band/artist. Spring 2006.
The task for the next video was quite open. We were just told to make a short movie, and this is the result. Fall 2007.
This one I made with two others during fall 2007. It’s a news story about young musicians and how they brake through.
The task for the next film was to make a maximum 3 minute long propaganda commercial. Made fall 2008.
Besides from these films, I’ve also been working with broadcasting. I filmed the schools annual revue in 2008, and this winter (2009), we were a group who made a TV show from scratch, doing all the producing and scriptwriting, as well as filming the whole thing. Both times we used the schools estunguishing broadcast cameras, the light and sound system and the directing room.
I’ve also been a part of making a sitcom of 5 short episodes last fall (2008), where I was the director.
During all the works I’ve done, I have mostly been working as a director, editor or production manager.
SWANSEA MET. UNI
Following is the first short-film project we got at Swansea Met. Uni. The project brief was to make a film of no longer than three minutes, with added sync sound. I shot this film with a Canon 450D, and recorded the sound separately and edited it together in Avid. Unfortunately, when I uploaded this onto youtube, something went wrong and there is a thick green transparent stripe in half the picture. I will try to fix this as soon as possible.
